Arrive in Tokyo at 5:30 pm. After completing immigration and customs, take the train from Narita Airport to your hotel in the Tokyo Station area. You can store your luggage in coin lockers at the Tokyo station if needed, allowing up to 8 days of storage.
Take the 8 am bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto, arriving around 10:15 am. After checking into your hotel, head out to explore Kyoto. Start with a visit to Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and Daitoku-ji temples. Enjoy traditional Japanese tea at Ippodo Tea House. Afterward, explore downtown Kyoto, where you can visit various bakeries like Konna Monja and indulge in Kyoto’s famous soy milk donuts.
Begin your day with a visit to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, followed by a stroll through Sannen-zaka and Ninnen-zaka streets, and Maruyama-koen Park. Explore Chion-in Temple and Shoren-in Temple, both offering beautiful, serene environments. Have lunch at AIN SOPH, a vegan restaurant, and then explore Nishiki Market. Visit Daimaru Basement Food Floor for some delightful treats before heading to Fushimi-Inari-Taisha Shrine in the afternoon.

Travel from Kyoto to Osaka by train, a short 15-minute ride. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and head out to explore Osaka. Start with a visit to Osaka Castle and Nishinomaru Garden. Enjoy a variety of foods at Kuromon Ichiba Market. Explore the vibrant Namba district and have dinner at Mirchi Masala Indian restaurant. Experience the nightlife at Club Piccadilly Umeda Osaka, a former movie theatre turned club with a contemporary sci-fi vibe. If you have more time, consider a day trip to Universal Studios Osaka or a visit to the Suntory Distiller
Take a train to Hiroshima, a 1-hour and 25-minute ride. Visit the Atomic Bomb Dome and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum for a poignant look at history. Spend some time at Peace Memorial Park and Shukkei-en Garden. Explore Hiroshima Castle before having dinner at Cafe Ponte, which offers beautiful views and delicious food.
Travel back to Tokyo and spend the day exploring Akihabara, known for its electronics and anime culture. Visit the Animate Store, Big Camera Store, and Yodobashi Electric Store. Keep an eye out for gaming areas and stores with scantily clad anime girls, as these might be awkward for children. For dinner, head to T’s Tantan Street Food and then explore the nightlife in Shibuya city at V2Tokyo or Maharaja Roppongi.
Visit Ueno Park, which includes a zoo, temples, and museums. Enjoy lunch at Wendy’s First Kitchen and spend the afternoon at Asakusa Amusement Park, SensoJi Buddhist Temple, and Nakamise Shopping Centre
Take a train from Tokyo to Kusatsu Onsen. From Tokyo, use your JR Pass to take the Joetsu Shinkansen northbound to Takasaki Station. Change to the JR Agatsuma line to Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station. From there, take a JR bus to the onsen. Spend a few hours at Yubatake, a major hot spring source, and then head back to Tokyo
Join a day tour to Mt Fuji, starting early in the morning. This tour offers spectacular views and includes several stops along the way. Return to Tokyo late at night and have dinner near your hotel or Airbnb.
Visit Teamlab Borderless for an immersive digital art experience. Enjoy lunch at Wendy’s First Kitchen, then visit Shibuya Sky for panoramic views of the city. Participate in a Samurai activity at Asagaya Shrine and relax at Saya no Yudokoro Onsen. End the day with dinner at Miami Garden, followed by a stroll across the Sumida River Walk to Nakamise Shopping Centre.
